Sutton Housing Authority approves FY27 budget prep, delegates signing authority.

Sutton Housing Authority grants broad contract signatory authority to Executive Director John Slocum. The board voted unanimously 3-0 to delegate signing power through June 30, 2027 for Capital Improvement Projects and March 31, 2027 for other contracts, provided all projects exceeding ten thousand dollars receive prior board approval. The authority also approved Slocum's fiscal 2027 salary at not to exceed thirty-five thousand seven hundred forty-three dollars and authorized him to enter into Maintenance Service Agreements for the coming year.
The board noted a possible FY26 budget revision pending accountant review and stated the FY27 budget will be ready for discussion at the February meeting.
