Housing Authority · Meeting of March 16, 2026

Sutton Housing Authority approves $130,092 sustainability grant for bathroom fan installation. The board voted unanimously on the Contract for Financial Assistance amendment, which runs through June 30, 2035 under state capital improvement funding. Executive Director John Slocum reported three staff vacancies with estimated turnover costs of $20,000 and noted that winter snow plowing and sidewalk clearing diverted maintenance personnel from apartment turnovers.

The board also reaffirmed the Language Access Plan and set an Affirmative Action goal of 10.8 percent for fiscal year 2027, with current minority representation at 7.5 percent.
