SUTTON — Select Board work session prioritizes governance and strategic planning. Chairperson Jesse Limanek, Vice Chair Jonathan Anderson, and Select members James Ettamarna and Christine Watkins (Clerk Normand Champigny absent) agreed to establish a centralized email account routing all correspondence through Town Manager Austin Cyganiewicz for coordinated response. The board discussed compensation structure for nonunion employees and reviewed three email-policy templates from other towns.
Town Manager Cyganiewicz proposed a joint meeting with the Planning Board and planner Jen Hager to align five- to ten-year goals; the 2012 Master Plan requires updating for population changes and emerging sectors such as AI data centers not addressed when originally written.
