Select Board tables UGPG TIF agreement addendum pending revisions
Select Board · Meeting of April 7, 2026
Sutton Select Board tables revised TIF agreement for UGPG development. Town Manager Austin Cyganiewicz presented an addendum removing Lot 1 from the district while retaining Lots 2 and 3; the move follows Community Partnership payouts of approximately $410,000 in school, road, and resident relief funding. Vice Chair Jonathan Anderson and Select person Normand Champigny moved to table pending language cleanup and clarification of economic value to the developer and tax impact to the town.
The board also reviewed a $42,309,772 FY27 budget warrant and a $1,958,000 capital plan funded partly from free cash, with State Senator Ryan Fattman and Representative Joe McKenna discussing state audit passage, Chapter 90 bonding expansion, and school funding formula reform for rural communities.
