Sutton Select Board approves pole hearing and October town meeting date. The board voted unanimously to approve utility pole permit #31347368 on Oakhurst Road for NGrid and Verizon related to driveway installation, and rescheduled the fall town meeting from September 21 to October 19. Town Manager Austin Cyganiewicz presented a nine-article draft warrant including $500,000 for HVAC feasibility and design at the Early Learning Center and Elementary School after the School Committee declined to pursue an MSBA project, $153,000 for sewer department vehicles from retained earnings, and $32,000 for personnel classification and wage study.
Deputy Fire Chief Robin Dresser outlined a proposed Sutton Fire Museum at Waters Farm to be funded entirely by private donations and volunteer labor.
