SUTTON — Select Board unanimously authorizes dual representation for fiber network extension. Town Manager Austin Cyganiewicz presented the FY27 budget outlook, warning of a 20 percent health insurance premium increase totaling $660,000, a 10.45 percent pension assessment jump of $231,000, and estimated school cost growth around $700,000 pending union negotiations. Capital projects over six years are identified at $6.1 million, with no new full-time positions requested in department budgets.
Highway operations have spent 54.3 percent of the $250,000 snow and ice budget through early January.
