Sutton Health Board Expands PFAS Water Testing

Board of Health · Meeting of February 25, 2026

Sutton Board of Health widens PFAS water testing and keeps two wellness-business inspections open. Board member Colleen Rosales presided in place of Chairperson Diane Miller, with members Ryan Sansouci and Amy Valletta attending a hybrid meeting held without a working Zoom link. The town's health agent said inspections of Aurora Longevity and Wellness and Blackstone Reflexology remain pending, recounting an unannounced visit where "a girl came right out and asked me if I wanted a massage." PFAS was found near 79 Worcester Providence Turnpike and Harbeck Road, prompting DEP to expand testing roughly 500 feet, while transfer-station monitoring wells on Stone School Road also showed PFAS above state limits.

The board approved four sets of back-dated minutes and set its next meeting for March 24 at 6 p.m., tabling a permanent shift to 6 p.m. meetings pending the absent chairperson's input.
