Board of Assessors approves active duty abatement, reviews fiscal 2027 adjustments

SUTTON — The Sutton Board of Assessors granted an Active Duty in Foreign Country Abatement Application and signed a Forestry Plan for 25R Holt Road during its regular meeting on July 28. Chairman Robert Nunnemacher oversaw approval of prior meeting minutes and confirmed with assessment software vendor Vision that fees will not increase for towns with parcel counts over 5,000. The board updated Senior Work-Off Program information for town website publication and began preliminary review of fiscal year 2027 interim adjustments derived from recent property sales.
